The Range area itself is another study in symmetry with an astoundingly crafted hood, backsplash, and range drawing your eye like a magnet. Tall cabinets flanking the hood, and even taller cabinets beside those create the perfect things that you want near the range: Oils, cooking wines, spices, etc. Wide drawers provide ample space to carefully organize utensils and kitchen tools of all kinds.

The Island didn’t miss out on the party as it is beautifully adorned with hand made corbels and panels that conceal function on all four sides. Even the side with seating has panels under the overhang that open to give access to the storage space underneath. At over 8 feet wide and over 9 feet long, the island was lovingly referred to as “the continent” during the installation.

We were fortunate to be able to be able to work along side such a great group, including the homeowners, designer, and builder. Many thanks to Martha Wheaton Robertson and Andrew Wivell for such a smooth project.
